Delhi Businessman Killed Over Financial Dispute, Body Dumped in Faridabad; 2 Held: The Delhi-NCR area has been rocked by the gruesome murder of a businessman after being allegedly killed over a financial matter. The victim was allegedly assaultedby two men with whom he had a longstanding financial dispute, according to police officials.
The authorities said the incident occurred earlier this week, when the businessman met with the suspects to settle a financial dispute. But the meeting reportedly turned violent, resulting in the man being killed.
Cadaver Dumped in Faridabad to Confuse Police
According to a police probe, the accused then allegedly drove and disposed of the victim’s body in an abandoned place off Faridabad to mislead police and delay detection.
Residents found the body and called the police. The officers reached the spot and, after sending the body for post-mortem, started a detailed investigation.
Police Investigation Leads to Arrests
Through technical surveillance and questioning of people who knew the victim, police were able to identify suspects involved in the crime. Within weeks, two men were arrested in connection with the murder.
Preliminary investigations indicate the killing was related to a financial dispute between the businessman and the accused, officials said. Key evidence was also recovered by police during the arrests, which could help piece together the sequence of events.
Further Investigation Underway
Police said they will continue to investigate the motive behind the suicide and the financial transactions that occurred, as well as whether any other people were involved in a conspiracy. Officials have vowed that those responsible will face.
